Jeni Beattie

Jeni Beattie, founder and Course Director, worked as a press journalist and spent five years with one of the world’s biggest PR Consultancies. She has counselled clients across Europe on media strategy and media interview skills. Her advice is based on more than 20 years experience at the sharp-end of issue management, dealing with problems such as environmental disasters and company rationalisation programmes. She has helped many clients to put across powerful, positive, and persuasive messages even when faced with a hostile media. Jeni is an Accredited member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.



Glen Oglaza started his career with Metro Radio, later becoming a senior reporter at ITN covering major domestic and international news with extended tours of duty in Washington, Moscow and the Middle East. His reporting team won two RTS awards (for Dunblane and the First Gulf War) and he was nominated for a BAFTA for his coverage of the London Poll tax riot.  Glen then joined Sky News as a Political Correspondent at Westminster covering the major political stories of the decade.


Trevor Green


Trevor Green has been a journalist for more than thirty years. A familiar face on Sky News and the North West’s regional news programme Granada Reports he is now a freelance broadcaster.



Esmond Holden started his broadcast career freelancing for Radio Orwell and Severn Sound before joining Orchard FM. He joined the BBC in Bristol in 1994 as a radio and TV Reporter working on regional and network news programmes.

A skilful reporter, producer and editor Esmond combines his valuable experience in broadcast journalism into media interview training.

Roger Ryan


Roger Ryan started his career as a reporter for the Eastern Daily Press before joining BBC Radio Norfolk as a reporter and news producer. He became a Bi-media television producer for the BBC, later becoming a reporter for Anglia Television. Roger has also written and edited a number of trade journals.

Mike Kiddey


Mike Kiddey started his career in Fleet Street and has worked for most of the national newspapers. His broadcasting career started with Radio City in Liverpool before he moved to BBC Radio Manchester.

Dominic Green


Dominic Green is a freelance reporter and producer for Sky News, BBC News 24 and GMTV. He started his career with BBC News West and Radio Bristol before joining GWR radio

Richard Dallyn


Richard Dallyn started his broadcast career with BBC Radio Derby, later becoming political correspondent for Independent Radio News. He presented his own programmes on BBC Radio 5 and “Richard Dallyn,” a news and lifestyle interview programme for LBC.
